Affiliate marketing is another approach to monetize your site, but it requires a significant amount of effort and a large audience.www.snobessentials.com is a very successful blog that uses affiliate marketing.

Basically, you register as an affiliate; with a company such as www.commissionfactory.com.au and sign up for a couple programmes. These affiliate companies then supply you with a tracking code, which allows you to earn a commision even 30 days after someone clicks on the link or photo with your tracking code and purchases a product. However, if you have too many affiliate links in your blog, Google may consider it spammy. These days you need to be established to be accepted so we suggest working on getting your content on your website such as blog posts and news.

By reducing your affiliate link with Hootsuite, Buffer, or bit.ly and crafting a clever statement, you may utilise it in your social media as well. Always mark an post that has an affiliate link as #affiliate

To make decent money from affiliate marketing, you'll need a large following and an interested audience.

I mostly utilise affiliate marketing to offer lifestyle items like clothing and housewares. Sometimes I'll write a blog article and include links to things I enjoy, and other times I'll just use an affiliate program-supplied banner. For this form of promotion, I exclusively use affiliate from Commission Factory. This is for my blog www.sydneychic.com.au.

The most important thing you must do when using affiliate links in your blog posts is to declare it up front! Have a mention at the top of the post. You can also add a disclaimer at the bottom such as this one:

Sydney Chic sometimes publishes affiliate endorsements and advertisements, which means that if you click on a link and buy something, Sydney Chic might receive a percentage of the sale, at no extra cost to you. We only write about and promote products that we believe in.
